AHMSI...

I was finally able to negotiate a Loan Modification agreement with American Home Mortgage Services, Inc. (formerly known as Option One Mortgage). I signed the documents, returned the docs to them with the first payment and thought I could breath a little easier. Well, not so..

After making the next two payments on time. I received a letter stating that the taxes and insurance (escrow) payments were not included and my monthly payment would increase by about $900.00.

Now mind you, the Loan Mod docs I signed had included the taxes and insurance (escrow) amounts in the new principal loan amount due. It appears as though AHMSI screwed up the math and miscalculated the actual amount of the taxes and insurance.

Well, by this time I'd had enough and really wasn't led to fight them any more. I figured I would cut my losses and move on. I knew I could live in a much, more fabulous home for $2,800 a month!!!

And the good Lord did just that!!! He has given me a fan-tabulous home!!! Exceedingly, abundantly above all that I could ask or even think!!! And I am so grateful! I thank God every day!!!
